The Cape Fear region’s historic gardens
include a number of instantly recognizable features, which have become mainstays for wedding photographers. These include the decks at Orton, the gazebo at Landfall, and the waterside pergola and fountain at Airlie.

Many gardens include water features that make a beautiful setting for bridal portraits, as well
as a refreshing view for guests on a hot day. Rustic bridges are features at such sites as Airlie Gardens and the New Hanover County Arboretum.
