Robin Meyer of Wilmington is planning her August wedding, to be held
at the Bellamy Mansion.
In the fall of 2005, shortly after becoming engaged, she selected an Oleg Cassini
gown, with a hand-embroidered, beaded lace bodice and full organza skirt, from the David’s Bridal
store in Pineville, near Charlotte.
In April 2006, Robin brought the dress to David’s Wilmington store to be fitted.
It turned out that no alteration was needed other than bustling the train.
Next task: Choosing a veil.
