When Jackie Schmidt
and Larry Annunziato started their wedding
planning, they knew they wanted their reception to have the feel of a garden. And to
honor his mother, and his family’s Korean heritage, Larry wanted to incorporate bamboo
as a design theme.
The couple worked with Pamela Jenkins of Pamela’s Wedding & Event
Planning and Ikebana Florist, which has special expertise in Asian floral design techniques.
Together, they created distinctive cylindrial containers, embellished with fresh bamboo and
packed with roses to decorate the head table.
