what’s a wedding reception without music and dancing? As an inspiration to those engaged couples who may feel rhythm-impaired, or just out of synch when the music starts, the 2009 Cape Fear Wedding Show featured dance demonstrations by the instructors from Babs McDance Social Dance Studio.
Owner Babs “McDance” Welker did a mother-of-the-groom number with her son Christian McCullen.
Allen Welker and Jessica Baltos demonstrated the opposite item, the father-of-the-bride dance.
The main attraction was Jessica and Christian, showing all the brides and grooms around the show’s runway stage examples of a wide range of dance styles suitable for a bride and groom.
The “McDance Dancers” troupe did the dance
from Michael Jackson’s famous short film,
coached and led by Victoria Bolinger, right.
