The new Convention Center

For the first time, the 2010 Cape Fear Wedding Show will be presented in Wilmington's brand-new showpiece, the long-awaited Wilmington Convention Center. It includes the first exhibition hall in Southeastern North Carolina specifically designed for exhibitions and consumer shows like ours. We are proud and excited that our bridal show will be introducing this building to brides, grooms and the public.

Since Cape Fear Wedding made its debut in 2000, our planning book and website have become Southeastern North Carolina's Number 1 resource for brides. Starting in 2006, our services have included an annual wedding show.

    The Cape Fear Wedding Show will take place from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, November 14, 2010. It will be in Wilmington Convention Center, at North Water Street, On the Riverwalk. Onsite parking will be in the center's adjoining parking deck on North Water Street between Red Cross and Hanover streets.

   Admission will be $5. Tickets will be sold at the show, as well as online. Advance ticket buyers have an opportunity to pre-register and avoid the line at the door, plus qualify for special door prizes.
    The show will be a perfect opportunity for brides to meet the Cape Fear region�s leading vendors. �Destination wedding� brides who live outside the area can make contact with dozens of vendors in a single visit to Wilmington.

   Approximately 80 vendors are expected to exhibit, with booths, vehicles and other displays all under one roof. The show will feature such unique touches as a special Bride & Groom lounge, bridal fashion and formal wear show, dance and music performances, and many other extras. Watch for door prize drawings, express VIP admission line and a live bridal fashion show emceed by radio personality "Foz" from the Z107.5 FM morning show.
    The show is produced by Cape Fear Wedding, a division of Cape Fear Images, Inc. of Wilmington. Radio stations Z107.5 and Sunny FM 104.5 are sponsoring partners.
    For couples planning a 2011 wedding, the show�s Autumn date is an opportunity to make early connections with vendors, many of whom start booking the most popular spring and early summer dates by the beginning of the year.

This look at last year's Cape Fear Wedding Show, with emphasis on the fashion show and dance demonstrations, was produced by Rebekah Hinkle of "The Three Divas." The Divas designed and coordinated this portion of our event. The video runs approximately eight minutes.
