Is there any cost to use this planner?
No. This is a free service for any couple planning a wedding in Southeastern North Carolina. Once
you're registered, you can log in as often as you like. There's no limit to how often you can update or add to your
planning checklist, bridal-party address book, preferred vendor list and appointments calendar.

Why do I need to register?
When you register with Cape Fear Wedding, you create a personal account with a user name
and password that allows you to log in at any time, from any computer or mobile device. Your personal profile includes
your wedding date, which lets our Wedding Day Countdown Checklist keep track of what you need to do when. And selecting
the product and service categories you're interested in allows you to create your own personalized "Preferred Vendor" list.

Who sees my personal information?
Certain basic details, including your contact information, your wedding date,
and your estimate of the number of guests you expect, are supplied to our advertisers in the categories
you have requested information about. This allows vendors who are interested in serving you to send you
brochures, samples, coupons and other information about their products or services. Your contact information
is supplied ONLY to Cape Fear Wedding advertisers in good standing and, if you've registered for the
Cape Fear Wedding Show, vendors who are exhibiting at the show. Your contact information is never
posted publicly. Cape Fear Wedding advertisers and wedding show exhibitors can obtain your contact
information only through their own secure login names and passwords. We never sell or supply your information
to any outside company.
All your other planning information is totally private. Your checklist, preferred vendor
lists, notes, appointments and bridal party contacts are accessible only to you, through your log-in.
So what, exactly, do you share with vendors?
What we share: Name, address and other contact information that allows vendors in categories you
specify to send you information about their products and services. This includes your wedding date, estimated number
of wedding guests and attendants, wedding city if known, and how you prefer to receive information.
And what information will always be private?
What we NEVER share: Your checklist, Preferred Vendor lists, notes about individual
vendors, appointments and other calendar entries, bridal party contacts and notes are all 100% private. This information
is strictly for your own use and is accessible only with the user name and password you choose when you register.

I've chosen my vendors and don't want to get any more brochures.
Update your list of products and services by "un-checking" any category in which you've
chosen a vendor -- or if you just don't want to hear from any more vendors in that category. This immediately
hides your information from all vendors in any categories you've removed from your listing.
This won't affect any notes or other information you've stored in your "Preferred Vendor" list for
those categories. Those remain accessible to you, as before, and only to you.
Will a vendor know if I take him off my "Preferred Vendor" list?
No. The Preferred Vendor feature allows you to narrow the field of contenders in each
category. Instead of having to scan through details about, say, every photographer or caterer in the region, you
can create a customized "short list" of just the ones you're most interested in. When you add or remove vendors
from your Preferred list, it's completely confidential. That's your business and nobody else's.
Do I have to register to post on the Bridal Forum?
Yes. To protect against abuse, our online Bridal Forum permits contributions only from registered
brides. But to protect your privacy, your postings are identified only by first name and home town.
