The economics of weddings

   As a wedding professional in the Cape Fear Region, You and your staff are cordially invited to the Summer 2008 Networking Luncheon sponsored by the Cape Fear Wedding Association.
    The program will be a presentation and discussion on a topic of importance to the wedding industry of the Cape Fear region.
    This event is a great opportunity for wedding professionals to get acquainted, swap ideas, share leads, make referrals and strengthen their business ties.
    When: Wednesday, July 16, 2008
    11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
    Where: Hilton Wilmington Riverside.
    301 N. Water St., Downtown Wilmington
    What: Buffet lunch, catered by our host, followed by brief Association business meeting and program with audience participation.
    Program: Alan Pacek is part of an initative by the Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce to make Carolina Beach more business-friendly and event-friendly. He will update us on several major new wedding-reception venues coming to Carolina Beach, as well as on a joint Chamber and city government project to minimize obstacles to business.
    Enjoy a delicious lunch and an opportunity to network with fellow Cape Fear area wedding professionals. Name tags will be provided. Bring brochures and business cards to share.

    The buffet luncheon is free for one representative of each Cape Fear Wedding Association Member. Additional representatives of members, $15 per person. Non-members, $25 per person.
