Scammers blocked
Sad to say, but there are creeps and criminals who prey on people trying
to buy and sell online. To spare our bridal classified advertisers from
the annoyance of deleting messages from these larcenous bozos, we have
redesigned our "reply" form. Now, all replies to classified ads are screened
by our editors and the obvious scam messages are deleted. This may cause a
slight delay, but we think the results will be worth it.
Still, it's a good idea to use common sense when corresponding with people
who reply to a classified ad. Here are some likely signs of fraud:
- The "buyer" is overseas.
- The buyer wants to pay using a certified check or money order. Many
international scams use fraudulent checks that may be drawn on non-existent
banks.
- The buyer attempts to pay more than the asking price and asks the seller
to refund the difference.

Item: Brand new Maggie Sottero Eleganza, Size 14
Brand new (with tags) Maggie Sottero Eleganza for sale, Size 14.
This dress is in perfect condition, never worn. I decided to get a different dress and cannot return this one. It is a size 14, but it runs small (I wear an 8-10 in regular clothes). I am 5'5'' and it is the perfect length for 2.5-3 inch heels.
This off the shoulder dress is satin with tulle overlay, with beautiful lace and beading. The back has lace with pearl buttons and a cathedral train. I paid $1300, and am asking $1100. This is a great deal -- you will pay more to get a new one at the boutiques and will have to wait 15 weeks for shipping. I will ship immediately!!

Item: For Sale: Discontinued Oleg Cassini Gown
I am selling a beautiful Oleg Cassini gown CV190. It is a strapless ballgown, size 6 in white. The dress is satin with a beaded bodice, and has an organza overlay on the skirt. There is beading all along the bottom of the skirt, and it has a chapel length train.
The tags are still attached, and the only alterations made was the adding of a bustle. There are no rips or stains. The dress has never been worn for more than trying on. I will include the slip in the sale of the dress. The dress is being stored in a garment bag in a smoke free home.

Item: Beautiful White/Diamond Oleg Cassini Wedding Dress
This beautiful wedding dress was purchased from David's Bridal. It is from the Oleg Cassini 2007 Collection, style No. CT221.
It is a size 4 and the color of satin is white/diamond.
It is a one-piece, corset, full A-line gown with beading on the bodice, skirt and on the train. It has detachable straps.
The train is a long length. The skirt back boasts caught up accents cascading into a chapel train.
The bodice features a fitted dropped waistline romantically embellished with an embroidered, beaded motif comprised of Swarovski crystals, bugle beads, seed beads, glass beads, and sequins. Beautiful beaded lace (with Swarovski crystals, bugle beads, seed beads, and sequins) was also attached to the skirt of the dress.
The dress was worn once last summer, but went through dry-cleaning. It has never been altered and has an under bustle.
It has been stored in a hanging bag so it is in excellent condition (no wrinkles).
It is a stunning dress that needs to be seen in person!
