Save-the-date notes
A pre-invitation, especially for far-away guests

Well before you mail the
formal invitations for your wedding, you should consider sending a save-the-date card. This can
help your busy friends and relatives avoid scheduling conflicts.
When to send? As soon as you are sure of your wedding date.
A save-the-date card can be simple and fun. Ask your stationer for ideas,
or use your own imagination.
Some couples put a favorite photograph of themselves on a postcard. A nice
way to keep your plans from being forgotten: customized refrigerator magnets.
Any notice should include both the wedding date and the city, so out-of-town
guests can start making travel plans.
