Wedding stamps are designed for invitations and RSVP cards. Some have 'forever' postage value. Romantic and informal themes are also available.

New 'Love' design with pansies, and 'Celebrate' stamp in neon design. Older 44-cent 'Love' stamps in king & queen of hearts designs, and 44-cent 'Celebrate!' stamp remain available. 'Garden of Love' is 10 separate designs.

The U.S. Postal Service raised some first-class rates in 2011. Most multi-part wedding invitations now require 64 cents postage. Response cards still take a 44-cent stamp. Postcard-style RSVP cards take 29 cents.
New designs issued in 2011 for wedding-related mailings include some "forever" stamps that will remain valid for first-class postage even if rates change. The 44-cent/forever Wedding Roses and 64-cent Wedding Cake designs are specifically meant for invitations.
Several new stamps with "Love" themes are also available this year: The 44-cent "pansies," and a sheet of 10 variations on the "garden of love" theme, also 44 cents.
Still available: an older 44-cent design called “King & Queen of Hearts,” which is appropriate for informal invitations to wedding-related events such as bridal showers, rehearsal dinners and bridesmaid lunches. It’s actually a pair of stamps with two designs, both based on old French playing cards. For more casual events, there are two “Celebrate” designs. The "Neon" forever version was new in 2011.

Personalized postage
You don’t have to settle for what the Postal Service has to offer. Several new online services let you put your own photo on postage stamps!
Picture a little portrait of the bride and groom gracing the corner of your wedding invitation envelopes.
All you need is a digital photo, internet connection and a credit card. Upload your photo, use the vendor’s online tools to design your stamps, and provide payment. The stamps will be custom printed and sent to you by mail.
You’ll pay a premium. Personalized stamps cost about twice normal postal rates, depending on how many you order.
A special bar code on each stamp ensures it will be accepted as genuine U.S. postage. Some authorized vendors: photostamps.com and zazzle.com.
