About your prints
A word to the consumer
who is price-shopping for wedding photography:
You (should) get what you pay for. Among the factors that distinguish a $1,000
photo package from those that may cost from twice to 10 times as much:
- Equipment. The best professional grade digital cameras cost thousands
of dollars each, and the best professionals will not rely on just one. Then
there are lenses, lighting equipment, computers and editing software. All of
these must be upgraded or replaced every few years.
- Editing, retouching, color-correction and other professional finishing
services. Bargain packages typically provide you only with “raw” images.
- Experience and training. Technical skill and an expert eye do make a
noticeable difference in picture quality.
