Multi-media montage: nostalgia on screen
Use family pictures to create a biographical show

A popular
wedding entertainment is a multi-media slide show, sometimes known as a "retrospective
montage." It's the presentation of your unique love story at your reception.
These shows are created by a photographer
who has the expertise and special equipment to turn your and your
fiance's snapshots into a wonderfully romantic and nostalgic slide
show. It is set to music, generally about 10 to 15 minutes in length,
and presented while your guests are seated at the reception. These shows
can also be a part of your ceremony -- with the approval of your
pastor or officiator.
First, they'll see baby pictures, yours
and his, then first birthday cakes, first steps, first days at kindergarten.
Then your teen years with friends and pets; cheerleading and band
uniforms; slumber parties; football scrimmage with neighborhoood
pals; and graduations. The slides blend one into another, showing
your lives separately, each with your own family and friends. Then,
there are pictures of you two together, forming your relationship.
You'll relive your engagement, your bridal
showers and your wedding preparations leading up to this special
day. Your family and friends will want to see it over again -- espcially
when so many of them are in it! An option is
for you to have it all on videotape, CD or DVD for you to review any time you wish.
Create a montage as a special surprise
for your parents. (Of course, they could also create it for you.)
It's a wonderful trip down memory lane for you and your guests.
You can view an example of such a show by appointement
with a photographer who advertises it.
