Ordering fresh fruits and flowers from room service; scented candles; your favorite music; all are great ways to help stimulate your senses.
  • Flirt at the reception: Those meaningful glances and gestures you share during the festivities are guaranteed to heighten the excitement for both of you. Take full advantage of all those kisses your friends and relations keep insisting on!
  • A sense of the dramatic: Your wedding was a production; why shouldn’t your honeymoon lovemaking be the same? Some special, sexy outfits – not the same old things you wear at home – combined with the right lighting and music, shouldn’t fail to pique a groom’s interest.
  • Sensual stuff: scented candles, massage gels, your favorite music, bubble bath – all add elegance, all stimulate the senses. Order fresh fruits and fresh flowers from room service. Maybe your honeymoon is in a resort with spa services. Indulge yourselves in a couples massage, or reserve yourselves a suite with an in-room hot tub.
  • Variety: Whether experienced or novice lovers, don’t be shy about trying new approaches and techniques.
  • Toys are cool: Bring along your favorites. (If you’re traveling by air, packing them in checked luggage, not carry-ons, may be the best idea.)
Along the same lines of keeping personal matters to yourselves, it’s also a good idea to bring more than one memory card for your digital camera. Depending on your personal tastes, you might come home with some honeymoon pictures you won’t want to show Aunt Inez. By changing memory cards, you can share your sightseeing and shopping snaps without possible embarrassment.
