The groom's role
In a typical wedding,
the groom, best man and the grooms’ attendants are coming from many different places. This makes
getting their formal wear ordered, fitted and delivered a minor logistical miracle.
It’s not unusual for a groomsman to be fitted in one city, pick up his tux in
a second, and drop it off in a third.
To avoid last-minute hassles, it’s worth asking your formal-wear dealer about
how they keep track of their far-flung customers.
Most formal-wear stores are either part of a chain, or are affiliated with a
warehouse company that supplies them with the suits they rent.
At Wilmington area weddings, a majority of the male members of the wedding
party are from somewhere else, according to experts in the formal wear business. Not only is

out-of-town friends or relatives.
