Proposing and the engagement ring
How to be sure you choose the perfect ring

When a guy asks his sweetheart the big question, it’s traditional to have the engagement ring ready as a precious token of the commitment he’s offering.
But the fact is, choosing a piece of jewelry that will last a lifetime isn’t an easy task. Lucky is the man who can properly judge his true love’s taste, and get her the perfect engagement ring. If it isn’t quite to her preference, invite her to go back and choose a different setting.
That’s why many couples prefer to shop for the engagement ring together. But if it’s important to do the traditional “on-bended-knee” proposal, you might use a piece of costume jewelry as a prop, then take her out to select the real thing.
