Bridal fashions along downtown Wilmington's Riverwalk

Once an afterthought compared to the nearby beaches, downtown Wilmington and the Cape Fear River have now come into their own as a destination for weddings.
The central business district and nearby residential Historic District are famous for their distinctive architecture. This includes a dozen magnificent old churches within a few blocks of the river.
The Riverwalk, a popular promenade, runs more than a mile connecting several popular party spots and tour boat docks. Also close by are numerous restaurants, inns, private clubs and other venues that cater to wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners. Other amenities within strolling distance are florists and salons.
The short distances make it practical for newlyweds to travel around downtown in unconventional means such as horsedrawn carriage or even pedicabs.
